Maintenance III - Low Voltage Technician - District Operations

 

This is an 8 hour/day, 12 month position under the Classified Bargaining Unit. The start date is as soon as possible. This position is open until filled.

 

DEFINITION

Under the supervision of the Facilities Manager and/or the Maintenance Supervisor, assist with low voltage work in one or more trades in the maintenance, construction, and repair of district buildings; perform related work as required.

 

DISTINGUISHING CHARACTERISTICS

This position is an entry-level position for the Low Voltage Technician trade. This position differs from Journeyman Craft Specialist Low Voltage Technician, due to the higher licensing requirements and experience required for the Journeyman Craft Specialist position.
